Wow never thought of Elf that way, but as a Dyslexic I completely agree.
I’ve had to give up explaining my dyscalculia because my wife keeps making fun of me for “self-diagnosing”; meanwhile, I struggle internally. I’m living in a nightmare.
How is this like dyslexia? I’m not so I’m curious what you mean. Not feeling like you are good enough/like you belong?
I definitely felt this growing up with ADHD.
For those that are unaware, the actor playing Ming Ming the Elf, is also the actor that played Ralphie in A Christmas Story.
I never thought about this scene like that, but as someone with dyslexia I completely agree. Everything is just more difficult than it is for my peers. It’s a daily struggle.
