Genuinely impressed with the two hours I put into it so far.
Say what you want about Fortnite, but it’s genuinely impressive what they’ve built.

I prefer the Lego Skywalker Saga game to this – or the Lord of the Rings trilogy – but it *is* pretty impressive
Downloaded fortnite for the rocket race tomorrow, decided to try this mode for a bit and ended up spending hours in it. Absolutely mind blowing. Epic really went above and beyond creating this, calling it a mode is an extreme understatement, this is an entirely different game inside fortnite. They could’ve easily released it stand alone and made bank on it.
It really is incredible. I’m dying to get back and play some more. I love the look and feel of it and all the little details are great!
So wait, is this battle Royale or is it more like Valheim/Minecraft where you can just play with some buddies and not join PVP?

I’ve played it for about an hour. So far it has survival, collecting, craft and build. it’s pretty good because it’s all built with the fortnite stuff. I’m not a huge fan of the fortnite gaming loop of Battle Royale and the saving Earth thing is kind of a quagmire to me because of all the different currencies and schematics and you have to play with other people because it gets too hard so you can’t solo it. This though, I can sink my teeth into. Its fun so far. fingers crossed.
Because Team Kanohi is still working on Masks of Power.
Played this with friends all day, not only is an amazing game but it’s also amazing that this is in fortnite

As a guy who had never played fortnite, can someone tell me what Lego fortnite is about that’s different than the main game?
I just saw the trailer for this and thought it looked incredibly fun. I thought it was a whole game at first. Guess I’ll have to download fortnite.

It’s absolutely amazing and if they continue working on it can become a new staple mode in fortnite.
Not even close to the best but its pretty impressive especially for a free game. I played a few hours and had a lot of fun but Its in dire need of a lot of QoL updates. And building is an absolute chore. I have faith that it will get better but aint no way this is beating out the many fantastic Lego games that came before.
My favourite Lego game was that Lego rock / mining one. I think 20 years old or something? Haha

This game is a childhood dream of mine , I always wanted to play a sandbox lego game like this when I was a child . And they even have the star wars skins in lego so its a dream come true for me .

Does this have matchmaking? None of my friends play Fortnite (neither do I but I’m willing to download it) so it would be a shame to play this solo.

I like how it’s a mix between Minecraft and Ark, makes a very fun game. Ark is a loose comparison but it’s in there.
It’s good? Looked really cool from what they showed at TGA. Is it viable to play solo?
All this needs is continuous updates and it’ll be addictive for a long long time.
This game is fun af and I hope they continue to drip content for it because I didn’t expect to like it as much as I do
I played it for a bit, it’s ok.
The way I’d describe it is: Lego Fortnite is to Survival games like Minecraft Dungeons is to Dungeon Crawlers. In other words it’s well made but dumbed down, and doesn’t really innovate on anything.
Which is unlike their other mode, Save the World, which is a game I haven’t seen done quite like it was. I wished they had not dropped support for that game, but I guess it doesn’t have the marketability of LEGO.
As someone who has never played a Lego game, do they actually have anything to do with Lego, apart from the characters and parts of the world being made up of Lego?
Like, do you build your own Lego vehicles, build Lego houses and stuff? Or is it just a game, but stuff looks like Lego?

This had a chance at being a really cool mode but its just s hit version of a mediocre survival game
