Stairs are in a lot of movies, what a coincidence.
Okay I don’t them walking up the three porch steps in The Trouble With Harry was cinematic story telling.
One of the best scenes in “Revenge of the Pink Panther” was in an elevator. I bet Hitchcock saw that one and was angry he didn’t get to direct it, but it just wouldn’t have been the same on a stair.
