The BBC do make some fantastic shows. This has been a very faithful and very well made adaptation, so far.
Looking forward to seeing the end of this series!

They have their work cut out for them to be able to do The Amber Spyglass in just eight episodes. I loved the first two seasons, I look forward to how they pull it off.
Been looking forward to this. S2 had issues, but the third book is insane. If they do it even like 50% justice, it’s gonna be great.

Season 2 was pretty much a complete shit show.
The stuff with the witches was just a head scratcher, everything to do with the shaman was terrible, how Lee Scorseby was handled was lousy, all the stuff at the city was shit and everything that went on in our universe was also bad.
And all of that was a follow up to a pretty shaky first season.
I may get around to checking this out.
Remember they cut one episode from 2. Wonder if it is in this season

I dropped it in season 1, and based on this thread season 2 is a pass. I’m not sure I’ll even try it.
Such a disappointing dull adaptation. Some highly dubious acting doesn’t help.

The more of the TV show I watch, the more I realize that I totally did not understand the books when I read them as a 12 year old…

Bc i like the first season when they go with her father and mother more like villain,
then they change the mother in the end of s2 i think its suck and make the mother more like anti hero
