How many layers of Damascus is it? Very nice work.
This baby took me around 35h of work (distributed over a few months) and alot blood sweat and tears.

specs:
It is made from around 60layers of ladder pattern damascus (80crv2 an 15n20) on each side of an 80crv2 core.
i got some inspiration from u/Theredwalker666 s post.
The handle is ironwood.

Looks pretty good. Are you doing your own pattern welds? I saw the materials used but it didn’t say if it was all done in house or if you started with some prefab materials.
If you don’t mind a little critique, the lines are a bit too soft, I think. The groove and false edge on the point could be a little more pronounced and look a little too rounded. Also, the guard and pin could use a little more polish to remove the visible grind lines. (along with the wood for the grip)
You’re doing a great job. Now it’s time for the details. Any plans to join the ABS?
How do you do it?
I see 3 parts: the blade, including the tang.
The hilt, made out of wood.
A copper colored guard.
Obviously, they need to fit together perfectly.
The fact that you can create this but can’t spell knives correctly is a testament to our failed education system.
