*sigh* when i was playing ingress… I was definately farming my cemetary. I dont play go anymore but there are landmarks and historic sites in the cemetary.
Private homes are off limits for niantic sites… But almost everything else isnt.
Chances are it was hordes of shitty behaved kids all the time and they got sick of there bullshit. I regularly take walks sometimes through cemetery’s could easily play Pokémon go if I wanted to. It’s just goes to show how disrespectful some people can be (you know to the point townhall votes in that a sign should be made)
I’m a security guard and I still remember one lady trying to get past my checkpoint to play pokemon go. Like cmon can’t you go somewhere else to play it
I find it really sad that cemeteries are supposed to be this unwaveringly solemn place. My mom and I used to take walks in the cemetery. Of course we’d stop to look at her parents graves but we were there for pleasure not business. Normalize hanging out at the graveyard
Before this sign went up, I bet it had a booming Vampire the Masquerade scene. 🙂
Edit: I *seriously* don’t think it’s a pokemon go thing. You can contact the company and have gyms manually removed. I would bet money on it being a WOD thing.
When I am dead and buried in the ground PLEASE game over my grave, especially when my family is visiting. It will make them feel like I’m there while I lay down there all “stealth archer build, eh? Good choice”
I am guilty of submitting a few 200 year old headstones and a mausoleum to Ingress back in the day. They were all approved. I’m sure they are Pokémon stops now.
edited, I live near to a pioneer and more recently active cemetery. It is a nexus for community activity, recreation, dog walking and yes pokemons. It has an early 20th century era Egyptian revival mausoleum.
cemeteries exist for the convenience of the living not the dead. these applications can coexist with each other with a modicum of mutual respect from all parties. some my friends and acquaintances are buried or scattered there. With time the rest of us will follow in one place or another.
Ok so, if I’m a necromancer and need to go in there to do some necromancer stuff but I learned my trade from video games, will I get in? I’m asking for a friend…
If the Pokémon people are bugging them, they can contact niantic and have them remove spawn points and POIs. The cemetery I live by did it right after Pokémon Go came out. It’s a dead zone.
It still has Ingres and Pikmin spots, but no Pokémon.
When I die I would love it if my tombstone were a really popular gym and folks could just come hang out all the time. I’d like the company.
Bonus: If I rise from the dead I have plenty to eat right there!

Is this in regards to Pokemon Go?
But we gotta catch em all.
Domt bury me there
Behind every sign there’s a story.
Pokémon Go fuck yourself
I hate any game that makes me go outside.
There I was, grieving the passing of a beloved friend, when suddenly a gaggle of wild gamers appeared and began to “press F to pay respects”.
I can say with absolutely no sarcasm that I would be honored to have a gamer gaming on my grave. I mean…I’m dead so….🤷
Someone brought a DS to the funeral
The most oppressed group.
There goes my paintball plans. People are too sensitive these days.
My first thought was LARPers, but yeah Pokemon Go is probably the reason for this.
What if one of the bodies start gaming? They just gonna evict the poor guy?
Shuttup it’s community day and I want those eevees
What’s next? No sex on graves? Outrageous!
Is this about Pokemon Go or Hunting? I can’t tell these years
*sigh* when i was playing ingress… I was definately farming my cemetary. I dont play go anymore but there are landmarks and historic sites in the cemetary.
Private homes are off limits for niantic sites… But almost everything else isnt.
I’d like to point out that it was pretty common for people to have picnics on top of the grave back in the day
Kids are *dying* to play Pokémon there.
I got banned from r/darkjokes because I revealed I was a gamer

NO JOY ALLOWED!
Not pictured: Sign immediately to the right saying “Trespassers will be shot.”
Pokémon Go?
It needed to say
“Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again”
Gamers truly are the most oppressed group in our society, yet we live in it 😔😔
So apparently, I was not supposed to at his grandma’s funeral
I’m a security guard and I still remember one lady trying to get past my checkpoint to play pokemon go. Like cmon can’t you go somewhere else to play it
What tf happened here
I find it really sad that cemeteries are supposed to be this unwaveringly solemn place. My mom and I used to take walks in the cemetery. Of course we’d stop to look at her parents graves but we were there for pleasure not business. Normalize hanging out at the graveyard
“My mistake. MY MISTAKE! I thought your deceased relative was a sleeping Snorlax…sorry…ugh…”
What’s next? No digging permitted?
Before this sign went up, I bet it had a booming Vampire the Masquerade scene. 🙂

There were so many portals in our cemetery when I played Ingress! It did feel weird, but I visited some family at the same time.
But I want ghost pokemon…
I am guilty of submitting a few 200 year old headstones and a mausoleum to Ingress back in the day. They were all approved. I’m sure they are Pokémon stops now.
“How about y’all play a little game of Pokemon Get The Fuck Outta Here.”
Well then there shouldn’t be so many pokestops there….

Darn pokemon go ruining our country

Pokemon Go to the cemetary.

I think it’s meant for the Pokémon go people.
Well there goes my plans for a necromancer build
