Just watched the new documentary about him a few days ago. Absolutely fantastic watch. Not sure where to stream elsewhere, but in Canada I watched it on Crave.
I saw him in concert on the Dream Evil tour. This would have been about 1988. Megadeth opened for him so the opening set turned the floor into a mosh pit. I ended up about 10 feet from the stage. Best concert experience I’ve ever had.
If we’re making a list of the best metal singers ever Dio gets my vote

🤘🏼💀🤘🏼
I was so upset when he died.
I’m so lucky because I saw this legend live with Heaven and Hell shortly before his death.
\m/\m/
I’m still killing the king because of him
I saw the hologram tour, and it really weirded me out. A tribute band with an actual singer would have been better.

Man On The Silver Mountain
His voice would be the perfect doom metal voice by now.
Fuck cancer
Moving on a never bending light.
We’ll know for the first time
If we’re evil or divine
We’re the last in line
Yeah, we’re the last in line, oh

I will never get tired of Holy Diver.
Long live rock and roll

Saw him 3 times…Holy Diver tour ranks in my top 5 shows of all time…awesome voice, he will always be remembered…throw ‘em up🤘🏻!
Dio can you hear me i am lost and all alone…
This man pioneered the art of beginning a song with fifty seconds of wind noises
How dare you deny my ears of him singing. I was so excited, then nothing.
Like a rainbow in the dark
An old friend of mine once said, “Satan sold his soul to sing like Dio.”
Saw them in concert during the Dream Evil tour. Damn good show.
Dio has rocked, for a long long time
South Park introduced me to Dio
Memories! Ronnie Dio and the Electric Elves playing in clubs around central NY (Cortland area) 1960’s
He’s a short dude
His albums with sabbath are great. Mob rules may be the best one.
