There will never be anything more fun than playing hide and seek with a toddler. My niece used to open cabinet doors and hide behind them, or drag other hiders under the covers on her bed (where she would, almost inevitably, poop while hiding and shushing anyone unlucky enough to be trapped with her)
This reminds me of a young buck that tried to hide from me during deer season by putting its head behind a tree while the rest of its body was exposed. I guess if he can’t see me then I can’t see him.
I very distinctly remember being a little kid and realizing for the first time that just because I couldn’t see someone didn’t mean they also couldn’t see me. My little kid brain thought “if I can’t see them, they obviously can’t see me. this is how seeing things works”
Who? I don’t see anyone.
Fun age!
I see nothing, what a good hider!
Nailed it.
Who was?
Who was playing hide and seek? The chair…?
Laundry basket was out in the open!🤣

Hide and feet
As a father of 6 – I’d have to tickle those feet and drag em out by the ankles lol.
Aww! They haven’t developed theory of mind quite yet lol

You count, I’m going to take a nap.
I just can’t see him. That chair has always had tiny legs sticking out, right?
Who
So wholesome. Thank you for making my night.
Yeah! We made a rule where my toddler becomes “invisible” whenever she lies prone. She really enjoys giving us the slip that way.
“what happened to my chair? It grew these funny looking legs. I wonder if the chair’s new feet are ticklish…”
A sighting of the [Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal](https://hitchhikers.fandom.com/wiki/Ravenous_Bugblatter_Beast_of_Traal#:~:text=The%20Ravenous%20Bugblatter%20Beast%20of,it%20can't%20see%20you.) in the wild
