I once watched a Red Shouldered hawk chase a dove into the side of a house. I was outside working and from behind me I see a dove trying to dogfight it’s way out of a chase with a hawk. Dove is attempting to make a low pass on the flat part of a house, miscalculates and kisses a bunt object at full speed. Dove immediately falls to the concrete either dead or very stunned.
The hawk perched up on a tree as I’m about 15 feet from his kill. I just stand there and I think he was sizing me up. Within a few seconds it dropped down onto the dove’s body and then turns it’s head to look at me like it was saying “come on bitch, fuck around and find out who’s lunch this is”.
Happens all the time. I remember when I was younger, had this flapping abomination that would fly (a bit). Hawk came down and attacked it for a hot second in flight.

OMG.
Damn that’s pretty nutty. Got an after picture of the Drone? Curious to see what those claws can do to non fleshy things
Wow I also appreciate that the video is not needlessly long. Solid OP
I have two drones. You don’t think about how slow your drone is until a bird decides that it shouldn’t be there.
Nice talons.
I imagine the props of the drone could seriously hurt the bird.
Couldn’t the bird get seriously injured by the propellers?
‘fffffffffffffuck outta my sky’

amazing, amazing video, wow. Look at that gorgeous bird.

Those are some impressive frames of the hawk. Cool stuff.

Can confirm that seagulls will do this too.
This is cool. Add some dramatic music!
