Part of the show I like is Dave’s reaction when Bob is chosen. Dave stiffens, gets a bit jittery and softly exhales for what is about to happen. It’s like you can almost see a couple of his brain cells just leap off a cliff each time.
Every story he has is absolute gold. I’m currently reading a novel he wrote called ‘the satsuma complex’ and it really is as surreal as you would expect, I can’t get through more than a dozen pages at a time without taking a break because something I read is circling my mind because it’s so bizzare or paints a strange picture.
Bob is the bloke who has always answered “why not?” with “well exactly!”
I usually only watch Big Fat Quiz and 8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown, but I do enjoy seeing the occasional clips of this. If you like this clip, try the shows I mentioned! Great fun.

It’s incredible with Bob’s stories how at the beginning, you’re thinking, no fucking way. But then he gets going and by the end you’re like, it has to be true. And then half the time it is and half the time it isn’t. What a beast.
