The best ending would have been for them to walk to the corner, see no one, part ways, and then another pair (the first pair if they’re quick) pop out of the same door right as the victim walks by it again.
Years ago, one day I took a bus home from school. I was sitting next to a guy for 20 minutes when I decided to switch to a tram. I got up, left, waited, and boarded the tram.
Turns out the tram had changed routes, and I had to switch back to a bus a couple of stops later. The thing is, the bus and tram routes crossed, so I was able to get to the same bus. Not only the same line, but the exact same bus.
I entered and casually sat down next to the same guy I was sitting before. His face was showing a serious mental meltdown, though he didn’t say a word. For him, I had left the bus half an hour earlier on the other side of town and now magically appeard again.
They did something like this on Magic for Humans but in a different way. Iirc the guy was a purse thief at a restaurant, he ran off looped around the block and showed up in a police car seconds later and asks the witnesses questions. It was more a social experiment on how our minds work when trying to identify criminals even if it was just moments before.
On another note, anyone else remember when Improv Everywhere was at its peak and they like to do pranks with Twins/Triplets.
They have another content where one of them had a tattoo, and they switched up on the bathroom and the other twin shows a different tattoo, the tattoo artist was so confused about the situation.
And people wonder why no one respects people with handicaps or trusts anyone maybe if people weren’t doing everything for the likes and the lol’s the actual people would be taken more seriously.
I had this happen for real in real life. I was walking down the street with my gf and passed a guy who looked EXACTLY like an old college friend I hadn’t seen in years. We walk a bit more and she asked if I knew that, “No but he looked just like Bob L”.
“Who’s Bob L? What’s he look like?”
“A guy I went to college with and worked with. He looks…like….HIM! That’s Bob L right there!”
He was walking about a block behind his exact doppelgänger. It was such a crazy coincidence.
