Skateboard clear tape over the plates will obfuscate the camera image. If the cops are experienced enough they may notice you but that’s a pig and a poke in my mind.
Here in Uruguay tickets are expensive as hell, I had a boss who removed his car’s plates, driving with no plates has a 100 usd fine, but driving past the speed limit scalates from 150 usd up to 500 usd..
He was happy that he had 3 tickets for driving with no licence plate but “saved” a bunch of 500 usd tickets.. A very particular kind of guy..
This same thing keeps coming around. The first time I saw it was about 1958. The plate was “NONE”. California. The story was in the L.A. Times. Every time a cop issued a parking ticket to a plateless car, he wrote NONE in the blank and that guy got the ticket. And it was nearly impossible to fix. Is this something that people keep doing? or is it something that newspeople keep pulling out on slow news days?
I ran a euro plate on my car for 6 months while I was waiting for my personalized plates to be delivered. The euro plate was what my personalized plate is and I know I ran a few red light cameras during that period and never got a ticket for any of them.
In my country there was a news story about a guy whose number plate was “unknown”.
He apparently got all the tickets from all the traffic cameras in the country where the cameras were not able to read the number plates.
“Nor had Tartaro gone on a statewide, parking-related crime spree. Instead, by paying that $35 ticket, it appears that a database somewhere now associated NULL with his personal information. Which means that any time a traffic cop forgot to fill in the license plate number on a citation, the fine automatically got sent to Joseph Tartaro.”
He’s either getting no tickets or all the tickets
Reminds me of the ”NO TAGS” license plate in the US. Guy got every ticket the cops filled out for cars without licence plates.

This guy is either a total genius or just wanted to watch the world burn

HEY ITS SERBIA NOVI SAD
I’m naming my son `[object Object]`
I somehow feel a objective c nostalgia
Those crazy serbs
This looks like nothing to me.
He should just use an American license plate like the rest of us, because our Serbian systems can’t verify the.
American, what’s the joke?
Doesn’t look like anything to me.
Boy, am I too old or too dumb for this.
I know a guy whose last name is Null. He actually has trouble buying airline tickets from certain carriers because “Last name cannot be null”.
He claims that he’s the only guy under seventy years old who has to call customer service to buy tickets rather than doing it online.
Novosadjanin!
Sidenote, programmer joke, move along.

This is New Now?
That was my wife’s maiden name. It used to cause issues in the past.
If that doesn’t work, hit em with the EOF (End of File)
In the 1990s I worked on criminal justice software. We did the systems for a few states.
There were a few names and license plates that the system would reject.
If you could have somehow managed to have your last name changed to “DECEASED-UNKNOWN”, then it would have been impossible to be charged with a crime.

I am an analyst for a trucking company. We had a truck driver with the actual last name null. Caused all sorts of troubles with various forms.

Wonder what happens if you try “; DROP TABLE users;” lol
“/0” will crash them every time.
That’s why he should’ve done “exempt” instead
Funny thing is a guy did this and ended up with all the fines the police couldn’t identify and they would write NULL on the form.
bro car doesn’t exist in the system
SQL injection attack
My name is Error. Syntax Error.
I will get a license plate that says ‘DROP TABLE;’

So kids, don’t null around.
A remember a guy made the news for having NULL as his custom plate in the early days of traffic cameras in my area, but it was back in 2002 or so.
Some guy in the US tried that with a tag that read ‘NO TAG’.
He got ALL the tickets where the officer had noted any car had no tag.
