I’ve seen every episode of Ancient Aliens. I love that show. But even as a super fan, I feel like I don’t need a 3 hour debunking. I know. I get it. It’s just fun shit to think about.
Why do people get so invested in proving it wrong?
Alien grifters will explain away every good point made in this video. They aren’t looking for a “truth”, they are in a cult for others to profit off of.
Great effort, although the creator of this 3 hour video missed the bigger picture:
Anyone who would be convinced by this that Ancient Alien theory is bull shit already knew it was bullshit. Conversely, anyone who somehow found the ancient alien theory legitimate would never watch a 3 hour debunk when they could instead watch the 50+ hours of ancient alien programs instead.
I would like to watch and learn from the video. But I also want to throw anyone into a pit of fire for using phrases saying someone’s getting “destroyed”, “annihilates”, etc. for simply providing counterarguments and debunking/clarifying misunderstandings.
Is this the guy that suddenly switches tactics right at the end and starts talking about the Biblical flood out of nowhere? Cause the 3 hour video I watched on this subject already did that. It starts out as a well thought out, systematic approach to debunk all of/as many of the false claims in the original content as possible, and then turns into “but ask me how Noah’s Ark was a real thing” and I felt really cheated.
This video is longer than the content it’s trying to debunk. No way you’re getting me to watch something this long about a topic that is false at face value anyways.
Some of the stuff about the Anunaki and Zitchens was wrong because the stuff in the show is wrong to start with. Then they just attribute it to him when I don’t think any takes the books as serious.
A 3h10m video is less of an annihilation and more of a slow burn. Sorry, but ain’t nobody got time for that. If I had 3h to watch a video, I would watch 2 decent movies.
Here’s a quicker path to understanding those shows. Every time the Ancient Aliens or other fringe History Channel show asks a question, just remind yourself that even the producers know the answer is a simple “no.”
“Is it possible, as some [super fringe] scientists believe, that aliens visited these cultures and taught them these skills?”
I took a freshman seminar *in the fall of 1989* that thoroughly debunked Von Daniken’s absurd books. There’s never been a serious question about it because the data consistently and overwhelmingly support simpler human explanations.
Ancient aliens is a great story though. I love me some Stargate!
In between trying to find food and shelter an fighting disease and predators. They got thousands of uneducated people together to build sht like this. Bull sht
Before I settle down for a three hour documentary, is the takeaway that man accomplished these things or that God did?
Dude, the video is more than 3 hours long.
I can’t do 3 hours of history, I just don’t care enough.
The music at the start is almost Adele – Someone Like You
Does it really take 3 hours to say “because crazy people on History channel arent good sources.”
I love this so much. I even downloaded it and added metadata , and keep this in my offline media library.

Three hours?! What is this, a brief video about Jordan Peterson?

Slow fade in… “there weren’t any aliens”. Annihilated.

A 3 hour video?? Really??
“I think you will quickly see…” * continues for over 3 more hours *
Could have been more than 3 hours considering how much bullshit Ancient Aliens spewed.
Ancient aliens is more plausible than the Christian narrative
The part about the Pyramids is especially interesting to me. The internal ramp theory makes so much sense.

My guy you linked us a whole ass 3hr documentary

They cut the stones with copper blades and a burning bush 😂😂😂
I’ve seen this whole doc previously, and the only thing he “annihilates” is his own credibility.
<yawn>
Next.
Debunkers dont impress me.
Annihilate is a strong word for a boring documentary made but a guy who believes in fairy tales.
Today must be long format day.

“Nope.”
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I want to know but 3 hrs is asking a lot
3 hours? Is there a tik tok length of this?
That’s a crazy long way to say “ancient aliens aren’t real.”
There, saved you hours.
“oh interesting…..wait full mov- THREE HOURS?”
If ancient aliens aren’t real, then how did ancient aliens build the pyramids?
Checkmate, I just debunked this documentary.
You’re the one getting ratio’d
So he just substitutes Aliens for God? Isn’t that exactly what Ancient Alien theory is doing in reverse?
Man, Redditers really get offended by someone being Christian, huh?
