People here complain about the size of the map but it’s basically perfect IMO. Both 3 and VC I can drive them blindfold and I can tell you every landmark just by pointing to the map. In many ways both 3 and VC the map is one of the pivotal parts of the game. I wish they would go back to sizes like this for maps but make every place in the game enterable.
It’s pretty assuming how small this map actually is. 1/5th of it is water (the bridges) and another 1/5th is beach. and this might be reaching a bit, but another 1/5th is the airport and the race track.
This unlocked an old memory of a dream i had where i was traveling around a map of all the gta cities all together, which kinda looked like this but 3 bigger main islands instead of 2
If I had the choice between a mapnof this size but everything is extremely detailed and you can enter every building or a map the size of GTA V or even RDR 2 I choose the former every time.

It was that small? god damn. I was teen when i played it, kinda felt smaller than liberty city but it was a beach kinda thing place so i didnt mind,
I want a map this size, that you can literally interact with everything. Go into every building and every room. I don’t want size, I want depth.

Always annoyed me how skinny the islands were, and one was half sand. Still one of my favorites though
