I just bought a tiny little “Gameboy like” handheld and installed copies of my legally owned (cough cough) Gamegear games on it. 35 of them. Along with my vast collection of lots of other retro console games that I definitely legally own copies of.
Respect.
I still quote that commercial just about every time I offer someone coffee. Ok, so sometimes.
This is amazing. I still remember playing my game gear after being a game boy gamer. The colors so bright and the animations so so good. Congrats!

I have the same case and a couple of those same games.
Years ago I stole my friends game gear. I didn’t reeeally steal it but I told him I would be his friend forever if he gave it to me. I had to give it back. We are still insta friends lol

I played the crap out of NBA Jam and streets of rage 2 on that bad boy
I remember I had the tv antenna cartridge thing for it and would sit in the living room (where we had a tv) and I’d watch Tin Tin on my Game Gear instead lmao.
