Then one fateful day on the toilet I randomly checked Amazon, and behold the disc version!
Buddy of mine was surprised when I told him I found one in the wild before Christmas. Today he texted me and told me he just picked one up for his daughter’s upcoming birthday
In mid-November I called a bunch of stores looking for a PS5 in my city and they all told me to wait until Black Friday and show up at 4 am. Then I looked online at the Sony website and they were all in stock. Retail price. Took about 5 days to ship.
Honestly, I both wish I could buy one and am glad I can’t. Things are absolutely riddled with issues. Just heard this morning about the liquid metal cooling system ruining some consoles. I hate that I can’t get a better console because I don’t trust that mine won’t be literally destroyed on arrival.
Happy to not support scam- I mean scalpers. Got my next generation console from gamestop, took some patience but defonetly better than the other option
I live in Singapore, I stopped by my local Sony store and ask one of the people there when will the ps5 be in stock to which he casually replied “15 months”. So I just said “ok” and went on with my day
I waited so effing long just to make sure I wouldn’t give a dime to some cancerous scalper. Scalpers can trip with their hands in their pockets and so can people who give them money.

I got a bundle for less than retail right after release because they set a super high buy it now and no reserve price. Saved 44 dollars lol.
