Hi ho, hi ho!
It was 11,000 feet deep with 367 miles of passages.
It Was a hard rock mine where rocks were extracted and pulverized and further treated with mercury or arsenic to extract gold from the slurry.
We had to take a picture like this with all of my 18 cousins when I was like 10, and also a minor. It sucked. Respect for these folks
