An absolutely legendary motherfucker.
Rest in peace, George Carlin.
One of the very few comedians who has material that not only has aged extremely well, but also has gold from every single phase of his career.
Rufus!
GOAT š
The only album I own on vinyl. Saw it in a used shop shortly after his death tagged near mint for $5. I grabbed it because I knew Iād never have another chance like that.
Fuck me that was brilliant.
Never realized this is where Blink 182 got their song from
So I’m a thief am I? Well EXCUUUUUUUUUUSE
MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Give ’em ten grand.
I love humor, which does not deteriorate over decades. Really laughed my ass off, though I was not even planned that day. Obviously a brilliant performer as well.
Is that the “cancel culture” the conservatives keep talking about?
ONE OF THE GREATEST!!!!!!
The F word can be used as a noun, verb, or an adjective š¤ . Ice box man was great too.
Celebrity Theater. Great place to see a show, either a band or a comic.
Nate Bargatze recorded his last special in this building and Louis CK recorded his special Oh My God there also.
Shout out to my homies at beardtalk live. They do a podcast every Saturday night where you can call in. And they say the seven words at least once an episode

I was expecting n-word right at the end
This bit is a masterpiece.
They seriously need to do a biopic of this dude lol.
A modern Bard, a vessel of the zeitgeist and a timeless voice of the people. I miss him dearly
The greatest philosopher disguised as a comedian ever
Words you can go to prison for saying. holy shit, please tell me how the US isn’t just a christian fascist state and always has been lol. third world country with iPhones, the most accurate description ever.
This is genius.
For later.
“Piss” has really lost its power as a swear word over the years.
Legend.
I loved this man.
While comedians today complain about “cancel culture” and guys like Carlin and Lenny Bruce went to jail. Soft.
This title is misleading. He was arrested many years prior to this performance. He had since won a court case and by 1978 the Seven Dirty Words were not a big deal. But this was his first filmed special (for Home Box Office) so he did an updated version of the routine.

Absolutely legendary delivery, always. Carlin could take the most inane, droll subject and somehow have everyone doubled over with a two minute bit
His ideas and ideology still hold the test of time. Itās called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it
The Shakespeare of Cocaine
In Ireland, āFuck(ing)ā in a sentence is just to let you know a noun is on the way.
They would cancel him today.
The absolute GOAT
The one and only George Carlin, gone way to soonš.
R.i.p
I opened Reddit expecting to scroll but then I saw the caption and now Iām like āwelp I guess Iām watching a 15 minute video insteadā. (Not even mad)
Not funny
It’s still gold!
Great one. Magnificent
Playing this in the car and the wife says honey you have kids in the car.
How do you think I learned them.
The Master Cunning linguist…

Social media companies have lists of words much, much longer then 7 and they won’t tell you they are censoring you because of it.
I wonder what Carlin’s take on that shit would be.
Miss this motherfucker
The GOAT.
If you’re a fan of Carlin, I’d reccomend watching Christopher Titus and Doug Stanhope.
As well as Bill Hicks and Sam Kinison, but more so to get a feel for George’s transformation in the late 80s
It still blows my mind that this guy narrated Thomas the Tank Engine when my brother was a toddler.
My older sister took me to see Carlin at University of Arizona Music Hall in 1974 (my 16th birthday gift). Laughed so hard my face and stomach literally hurt – real pain from laughing constantly for 2 hours. Was the funniest show Iāve ever seen. When he did this skit a couple stood up and left and he called them out. He also took an āintermissionā while remaining on the stage. Sat down at a small table and started reading a newspaper and drinking a cup of coffee he poured from a thermos. The crowd realized the joke and started laughing and he just ignored for a couple of minutes until his ābreakā was over. He then set his thermos down, folder his paper, and went center stage and states the show again. Was hilarious.
