I always hated how films made pills and drugs out to be some sort of “instant” fix.
Sure there are drugs that hit you very quickly if injected straight into the bloodstream but taking something orally? It’s gonna be at BEAR MINIMUM 15 minutes.
Gary Oldman is a Grandmaster of the art. You can feel the power, the psychotic drive of the character in this word alone. How his eyes move rapidly, the uncontrolled rage. An absolute master. I can’t believe he has never won an oscar.
I once had a headache so I decided to take a painkiller (an ibuprofen pill), but didn’t have anything to wash it down with. So I decided to chew it – I mean we’ve seen people do it in movies and video games, right?
Big mistake.
The taste was awful and it actually burned as if I’d eaten a hot pepper or something. I do not recommend.
I love him. He might still be my favorite actor. But he was just a bit much in this film. It worked in 5th Element, but his insanity and mannerisms in this movie crossed the line of believability a bit when I saw it again recently.
He is NOT inhaling a popper. Modern poppers are sold in a small bottles containing liquid. Used to be sold as VCR cleaner/Rush at headhsops and porn shops in the 80s and 90s. The poppers you crack are ancient and look like smelling salt (crackable capsule covered in cloth). This green and yellow PILL is likely Librium specifically the 5mg version. Drug name Chlordiazepoxide (a sedative and hypnotic medication of the benzodiazepine class; it is used to treat anxiety, insomnia and symptoms of withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs.)
He made drugs look so good in this it made me curious enough to try them. Thanks Gary Oldman.
Swallows?
He’s one of the very few actors that I can love to hate in films. He’s just so fucking good, man.
If only drugs taken via pills kicked in that fast lol.
Where can i get this super fast action pills?
This is from the film [Léon: The Professional](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%C3%A9on:_The_Professional).
It’s been a while since I watched it as it was released in 94, but from what I do remember it is a great film.
That’s a good performance but it’s not quite a [role of a lifetime.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3qGGk5ymQ4)

What you mean, everyone?
# EVERYONNNNNNNNNNNE
Oldman is one of the only actors I’ve ever seen pull off a genuinely frightening screen presence.
Why don’t you leave those nice people alone?
Gary Oldman was so perfectly over the top in this movie.
Excellent acting.
Its probably one of those gas station sex pills
So it looks like the trick is to break the cap open in your teeth then able your head so the contents spill directly onto your tonsil.
Also, I love the little comb-tooth click you hear just before and after he takes the pill.

He’s not swallowing a pill. He’s inhaling the contents when he cracks it open in his mouth. Probably a popper or cocaine.
