Also, is the “I’m X hours in the game and I’ve yet to scratch the surface” feeling always a plus for you or have you become weary of excessively lengthy games?

Tetris, but I’m not good enough
“You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.”
Same applies to games. Each good story needs an ending.
Borderlands and Skyrim are my favorite and they don’t end.
Fallout New Vegas!
Legend of Dragoon, I could play it forever
I’m on the last month of persona 5. You think the game will last forever then boom you’re at the end
Witcher 3 and its two expansions.
Jedi: Survivor, just absolutely loved the characters, story and world. Definitely got post mass effect trilogy feelings after beating it :(.
Dragon age 2 also gave post game depression.
The Ori games (especially Ori and the Will of the Wisps). I was dreading the ending when I replayed them just because I wanted to keep playing and exploring the games world even after hitting 100% completion. I just didn’t want it to end
İ recently bought mass effect. İs it that good ? İf it is im gonna download it immediately.
Cyberpunk 2077
Elden Ring never ends for a lot of casual games, including myself.
I never wanted Persona 5 (Vanilla ending) to end.
Yes, it had a perfect ending, but man did I enjoy starting from nothing both in the Metaverse and real world just to get my room filled with stuff and my personas filled with broken skills.
Persona 4 ending always makes me sad
I wish both Nier games didn’t end, but that would ruin the story at the same time.
I just wanna play them for the first time again…
We need Persona 6
Suikoden 1 or 2
Final Fantasy 7 and 9
Resident Evil 4
Castlevania symphony of the night
Many more
FF VII Remake will never end, because at the rate they’re going they will never finish all the parts.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
So good to have ff7 on this list 👍 I would add baldur’s gate 2, Subnautica and Oot.
Chrono trigger
Felt this for mass effect, but i could not wait for the end of elden ring. When i got to the snowy mountains I was ready for it to be over.
Fallout New Vegas. Disco Elysium.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective
That game took me on a trip I did not expect to have. So many twists and turns that even after it has finished I was left in awe. Though sadly I’m sure no more than 5 people here actually knows what I’m talking about.
Persona 5 Royal I genuinely got depressed when it was over/when I knew the end was coming. I can only imagine how those that played vanilla felt
Feeling that way rn with TOTK
I was ready for FF7 remake to end after about hour 12
Undertale
I know it’s a very common thing to say, but I want to see Frisk living their good ending god damnit!
Persona 5 was such a wonderful game. I was so invested over the hundred hours of content it had. Wasn’t used to longer games like that when I played it originally. After I beat it, I felt really empty. I’m more into RPGs now tho. The longer length doesn’t intimidate me or anything. I’m continuously chasing after that feeling P5R gave me a few years ago.
Red Dead Redemption 2 for me.
Yakuza :like a dragon , just too good to have an end
