That’s pretty surreal seeing a video that was made to promote the industry with a script that is completely out of touch. First it talks about how cute the animals are. How the babies are adorable and soft, and stay in the mother’s nest until their old enough to….go into a cage of their own. Then they’re killed in a CO2 chamber, in a “completely painless and stress free” way. Yeaaaa. Then it shows the cute little bodies being ripped open and flipped inside out on an industrial level. With the homey music and gentle voice over. Sheesh. If that’s how disturbing the “made for tv” version is, I can’t imagine what it’s really like.
Holy shit. We really fucked animals hard on this playthrough.
As fucked up as this was…I am genuinely curious as to what happens to the corpses (meat and bones)? They didn’t get into that.
