European football culture is crazy wow
Now imagine being a player on the field and people start doing this
Perfect timing, just got done watching Ted Lasso, so I know what a pitch is.
Congrats team!
West ham fan here. They deserve it, too much power and enthusiasm during the whole match
Love a good pitch invasion! Still remember when my local club got promoted and me, the little 8 year old, got covered in beer during the last few minutes and when the final whistle went, there was a big party in the stadium and on the field. Will never forget that moment.

If you want a good pitch invasion look no further than the Australian effort a couple of months ago
But 1989 was only 20 years ago….
That feeling when 1980 is a long time ago
It’s like watching Lord of the Rings
Interestingly they also last got to the champions league final by beating Rangers, who they now have in the Europa League final. I wonder if they’ll go more mental if there’s a repeat result of what happened there.
Soccer fans are fucking nuts.
Madness of crowds
Why do so many of them have laptops?
As a FC Barcelona fan, I can agree that they have one of the most passionate football fans in the world. And I’m sure that they are winning the Europa League Title.
I worked at the Rangers game last night and I can tell you the LED guy would have been having a head fit. That whole row of panels will have been destroyed here. A lot of moneys worth of kit ruined.
Always find it mad Americans being shocked at the way we are because that’s how you grow up here, your team is tied to your community and is usually heavily religious or political (here in Scotland its protestant or catholic for a lot of the big teams). There are places like in Seville where family members will get disowned if they support the other team.
Personally I loved going to the football when I was younger and getting in fights before or after, when you get a bit older like your early to mid 20s you kinda realise its a bit mad but there are still 50 year olds I know that love a scrap.
Football is a beautiful sport
My mum is in this video. Not recognizable of course, but still cool.
Frankfurt will be fined for that, but boy is it worth it.
So, I… uhm… I have to apologize to Barca for laughing at them when they got intimidated by Frankfurt fan at their own stadium.
Must be amazing to be a Frankfurt fan now
Congrats to them!
I seen United fans, and some other fans of English clubs, dismissing the Europa league, and that new one as well. Saying shit like they’d rather not be in them. Imagine not understanding the point of a sport that much.
Well from what the guy was saying at Ibrox they’re not massively durable to impacts and during the game they’re constantly being monitored at the side of the pitch when anything comes close to them. A shit ton of people pushing them down (I assume) and trampling them will have done some serious damage. Just the first thing I thought of when I saw the video and thought I’d share.
Eintracht!!!!
