Is there a PC version of it?
I remember that game! My stepbrother had to help me with the flying key room but it was one of my favorite games as a kid. And this proves the difference between then and now
I remember the best diss was in there too. “Nice earmuffs Potter, did your mother make them for you?”
PS1 version of Harry Potter and the Philosophercerer’s Stone is a different story.
I loved exploring the castle as a child.
It’s also has a secret room full of beans!

Whooooaaa, nostalgia city! I’d like to think that my completionist mindset root back to collecting those Bertie Botts beans…
Hard to believe this came out the same year I did
the amount of nostalgia i just got hit with
Hah that unmistakable Unreal Engine 1 look.
I played the shit out of that game. The part where you had to avoid Moaning myrtle in the library was the most terrified I’d ever been from a video game up to that point. It made me love games like Outlast later on in life. And the part right there in the photo I remember throwing little popper things that would expand and explode. Can’t remember what they were but I can still clearly hear the noise they made when they were expanding

If triple a game studios where willing to put out bangers like these still, I wouldn’t care about old graphics.
Need to get out of the micro transactions, incomplete games at launch. I would be ok with older style of games since they would be cheaper to make and faster to get to market.
Someone compare this to the San Andreas remaster.

Thats because this was, too, powered by Unreal Engine.
This is the PC version. The PS1 version is much much worse and doesn’t hold up at all. The Ps2/GC version does hold up a little better.
Fun fact: Sorcerers stone for the Ps2 gen consoles was actually made AFTER Chamber of Secrets. They wanted to rerelease after CoS to show off the graphics of the new consoles and used many of the CoS models and textures.
And music. You have a good taste if looking at this picture you hear *that* soundtrack
Is there any way to play this game these days? I played the first 4 Harry Potter games on PC all the time as a kid and I’d love to do it again
Wish I could get it running on my computer :/
