Good for her, this is an awesome achievement for anyone and people with Down syndrome often have a number of health issues so there are probably some additional challenges we don’t see as outside observers.

congratulations, but with all due respect, and I‘m just asking because I have literally no idea of running. How did she manage to run a marathon without being slim. do people with more weight successfully run marathons?
I know the downvotes are coming but she pretty much just walked the whole race. Time was a little over 10 hours. Cool but nothing worth all the hullabaloo.
