It was my favourite game of that year. I loved it.
I haven’t played because I don’t have time, but there’s a channel with all the cutscenes of games put together, so I watched this game’s story and I gotta say Days Gone has the BEST acting of any game so far. Absolutely phenomenal acting.
It is a totally underrated game. The atmosphere, the gameplay, the acting and the graphics are truly one of the best. And the hordes are awesome and frightening at the same time.
Was really surprised with how much I liked it. One of my only 3 or 4 plats.

Played it to 100% on PC and loved it.. it has its flaws i think, but overall i enjoyed the “ride” 🙂

It’s a very good game. Hordes can get frustrating and annoying but other than that. It’s a top tier game.
Was playing it last month in PC got near the end (I think but won’t spoil) anyways the game started crashing every time i approached a certain base so im kinda bummed and don’t want to replay it again for now

This is one of those games I completely wrote off when it launched on Playstation. When it hit Steam and I played it, I fell in love, and I HATE HATE HATE all the zombie stuff usually (it’s just one of those genres that feels so overused to me). I cared about every one of the characters, I loved the motorcycle and just adventuring around on it, so much so that I even bought a new Harley after having not had a motorcycle in 10+ years. I’m not 100% sure on what all else it was about this game that locked me in, but I loved it through and through.
Such a good game, especially after the first couple hours (not that they’re bad, just a bit slow), have fun!
I consider it the best translation of the walking dead tv show as a video game. So if that’s your style, you should like this game.
I thought that people didn’t like Days Gone
I enjoyed the gameplay well enough, but thought the plot, characters, and dialogue was mediocre at best. I got so tired of hearing the main character grumble his inability to process emotions and feelings. The whole “Sons of Anarchy vs Zombies” plot line got a bit cringy.
The first few hours are a bit slow, and the game is a bit longer than it needed to be. But damn I love this game! The gameplay/combat is awesome once you get the full arsenal.
I also enjoyed the story (which I hear a lot of people bag on). I thought the writing was pretty solid with a couple of twists and turns along the way. Some of the side characters are a bit generic but the main plot thread kept me interested until the end. Especially in Act 2/3.
Would recommend killing as many hordes as you can, unlocks some dope weapons if I remember right
Such a terrific game. In my mind, it’s one of the greats, up there with The Last of Us
The game’s fun, a touch messy in places but it adds personality i think, beat it myself a ways back and i honestly hope there’s a sequel soon i feel they could do more with some of the things they brought up.
I love this game so much! My old PC did not however, ran fine but HOT. When I say hot I mean my closed system water cooling exploded and got water all over, well, everything, an hour after I finished all the quests.
Highly underrated game, no sequel cause tAkeS ToO lOnG aNd CoStS mOnEy. Yeah, thats what good games freaking look like. Shame.
Played half of it on a ps4 pro gonna get it on pc when i get the chance

Game looked promising, unfortunately never clicked with me, especially the generic white protagonist.

Days gone is all i wanted the Last of us to be, faster paced, more ammo, makes me actually like the characters.

There’s an ambush camp with a horde in a cave below it, can’t remember which one but I led the horde into it and hide till the completed the camp for me.
