A dutiful damsel agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to discover it was all a trap: the royal family recruited her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt. She is then thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon, having to solely rely on her wits and will to survive.
Seems like MBB is heading down the mid-budget leading character star. She’ll be this generation’s female version of Gerard Butler. Never an Oscar and never a blockbuster but consistent work.
So apparently this is somewhat of a pet-project for Millie and based on what she went through. Story goes Drake kept her in a prison-like cell on the side of a mountain when she was 15 and did so until she turned 18.
People always think Netflix makes these movies. They are just the distributor.
The production company behind this is Roth/Kirschenbaum, the same company who makes a lot of these kind of movies. They were behind the Snowhite/Huntsman movies for Universal, Maleficient and the Alice in Wonderland/Wizard of Oz movies for Disney. They also did the School for Good and Evil, so they have plenty of these period wardrobes/sets around they can just reuse/repurpose for this movie.
Probably the most-overpayed and overrated actress at the moment.
I know she is just 19 and her career has at least 40-60 more years but I don‘t see the appeal.
Outside of her acting, she seems to be a very active and friendly person (several projects, involved in environmental activities etc.)
Nonetheless, she has not shown any acting-range outside of Stranger Things…which is also not promising when you think about she just puts her hand up, cries or screams during the whole show
She was good as playing a closed-off and awkward eleven but I am not convinced she has the chops to carry a franchise or film requiring any sort of range.
that’s a dragon mi lord

Looks like Bellatrix Lestrange escaping from Azkaban.

Just not a fan of Millie Bobby Brown’s acting. I understand some people just really like her, but I just don’t get the appeal.
Jesus christ this looks terrible
I bet the plot twist is she finds a way to befriend the dragon and uses it to kill the evil royal family
Is it bad Photoshop when I zoom in or am I imagining it?
Can’t she just put out her hand and yell to defeat the dragon??

What is the deal with this girl? She’s a mediocre actress, at best.
If this poster is so poorly made, imagine how bad the movie is
The Enigma of Amigara Fault
Why is this so terrible 😭 if you zoom in it looks like a fake joke poster for a gag in a YouTube video
Isn’t that the Cocaine Bear cave?
The Queen of Netflix Films. Millie Bobby Brown is becoming the Linda Blair of the 2020s.
Awful awful poster
didn’t know of this film but the poster isn’t selling it to me 😭
oddly placed hole in the mountain
Let me guess she’s not in distress and don’t need no man
Other than the obvious, kind of makes me think of the myth of the Siren. Or like an Angler fish, with the shadow on the mountain.
Is she trying to escape Drake?
Looks like shit
Who will be the man that saves this damsel in distress?
2 things are either going to happen:
– She’s going to kill the dragon and then kill the royal family
– She’s going to tame the dragon and use it to kill the royal family
Either way, the royal family is gonna get fucked eleven ways to Sunday
Should have been titled Dams El. Netflix, wtf?
“Im a warrior not a worrier”
(True quote from the trailer). The trailer looks awful
5 bucks says she makes friends with the dragon and kills the prince and his family at the end.
Yea, shes not gonna be able to carry a plot on her own.
Is this that weird ass manga with the holes in the mountain that was people tailored?
I’d prefer a lean one-woman survival film.

Just genuinely shocked how many people didn’t notice the Dragon’s shadow until they looked at the comments
This is my hole. It was made for me.
Not saying this will be bad.
But it sounds bad from all the nouns involved.
I actually really like the poster!
Medieval Mary Sue: The Movie.
Am I the only one who thinks she isn’t that good at acting lol.
TH-THIS IS MY HOLE!! IT WAS MADE FOR ME!
Is this the bitch who thinks the Earth is flat?
Drake’s all over it day one.
Look, I’m a feminist, but this still makes me cringe. I can see the plot points coming from 50 galaxies away.
So fuckin tired of her.
