Skarsgard sure loves playing monsters doesn’t he.
One of the few times Skarsgård doesn’t Los his “å” when his name is written in an English language text.
Love Eggers and thinking this should return him to his more pure horror roots.

If I had a nickel for every time Nicholas Hoult played a guy infatuated with a version of Dracula, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t that much, but it’s weird it’s happened twice.
Also I’m excited for this and hope it’s good.

If you haven’t, do yourself a favor and watch Shadow of a Vampire. Dafoe, Malkovich, freaking Carey Elwes! Even has my all time favorite comedian Suzy (Eddie) Izzard. Great movie!
Nicholas seems to be on retainer for vampire movies.

I love teases like this! He looks great based on what we can see.
Robert Eggers is one of those directors who came out the gate swinging hard and had his style already developed. Seriously love the guys work thus far and think he’s one of the most exciting newer directors in the business.
I have grave doubts about Depp’s girl in this and would’ve much preferred Anya, who’s already an established Eggers contributor. I sure hope LRD is in this because Eggers saw something in her and cast her himself, not because she was forced onto him by commercial factors.
