Tood Haynes is a master. Far from Heaven, Safe and Carol are all great movies.
> Moore and Melton star as married couple whose 20-year relationship inspired a national tabloid obsession at its offset. Now preparing to send their grown children off to college – as Melton reconciles with empty nest syndrome in his mid-30s – **an actress (Portman) embeds with the family to study them for an upcoming film where she’ll play Moore.** The couple buckles under the pressure as Portman probes as deeply as she can for an honest performance.
So basically, like Jon Hamm in *Curb Your Enthusiasm*?
What kind of title is “May December”? Is this about a premature pregnancy?
I look forward to seeing this! Todd Haynes has made some great works like Safe, Carol, and Far from Heaven. His recent documentary on The Velvet Underground was pretty good although I didn’t like Wonderstruck as much. Hoping to see this one when it comes out
This doesn’t even have to be good for me to see it. I’d watch a 2 hour video of Julianne Moore eating lunch.
This is the first picture of portmann that i’ve seen where she looks like a mature woman. Not saying she wasn’t already. I haven’t seen a picture of her for a few years that wasn’t an old movie clip of hers. She’s all growed up! She’s a beauty!
Natalie turned into Cobie Smulders
i keep forgetting how pretty portman is and julianne moore seems to be aging really gracefully.
I would imagine this is partially inspired by the Mary Kay Letourneau story.
Was hoping this was gonna be 2 hours of Julianne Moore and Natalie Portman Lezzing out
So is Moore supposed to be Mary Kay Letourneau?
Looks like they both had buccal fat removal.
As in the trope May-December Romance?
Looking at this image, they are very similar
Julianne Moore was a regular client at a business I ran years ago in NYC. She was so kind and polite – authentically so. She and Natalie Portman always amaze me as actors
every 40yo+ actress now transforming into this skeleton-looking-high-cheekbones monstrosity, jeez.
Man, Natalie is 41 now. Where is the time going?
I’m out. You know, I’m out of the contest.
They’re finally the same age! Barely legal.
(Please don’t be mad at this comment.)

I hope this movie is about them starting a murder mystery podcast.
Middle Aged White Woman Murder Mystery Podcast is my favorite genre.
Portman’s wig is horrendous
This movie will forge my personality
Julianne Moore does not age, wow.
Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore….yes please
I’ve seen Safe with Moore, and it’s one of the best movies ever.
Natalie is my forever celebricrush, Aubrey Plaza is my religion.
How does Natalie Portman keep getting work. She’s like watching a wooden ladle act
How has Natalie Portman looked the exact same for 20 years?
Oh shit Natalie Portman AND Julianna Moore?! I don’t care what the movie is about I’m watching it for their acting. Such great actresses they are. Loved Portman in Black Swan and Moore in Mocking Jay. Amazing.
Edit: Forgot Moore in Kingsman 2. 👌👌👌
This cast + Todd Haynes + melodrama is my catnip. I can’t wait!
Buccal fat trend is more prevalent, I see. 😒
No CGI’d arms?
Hello there!
Why do I think they both went to the same plastic surgeon???
Portman looks amazing
Screenplay was excellent.
Great casting.
Julianne Moore is **62**. She started out fucking gorgeous but her plastic surgeon deserves a medal.
I’d watch a 2 hour video of Julianne Moore eating lunch.
Why are they trying to reboot 30 rock?
Natalie’s face looks different in this image
Will there be coitus?
Wow! Julianne Moore still looks amazing!
Julianne ages so well
All women are starting to look the same. It’s weird.
