>Set in a near future America. A womanizer, Charles and a gold digger, Elaine trick people into relationships with illegal robot doubles of themselves. When they unwittingly use this scam on each other, their robot doubles fall in love and elope, forcing Charles and Elaine to team up to hunt them down before the authorities discover their secret.
How has Jack Whitehall ended up with a movie career. Sure the dude can make me chuckle but an actor he is not!!!
Why does front-seat Shailene Woodley look like she’s in her mid-40s?
I bear no ill will towards Jack Whitehall and I congratulate him on his success but…
He can not act to save his life, and his stand up has to be one of the blandest I have ever seen.
His success is an absolute mystery to me.
Stick with me, kid – I know this town like the back of my hand.
…hey, that’s new.
Are you supposed to be able to see the feathered matte line just screen right of the passenger seat Shailene? The back window doesn’t line up and the sky colors are different…
Woodley is insane, she eats dirt 😂
Starring nobody you know.
Jack Whitehall is a bit of a challenging one I think. You can’t say he’s ‘not funny’ because he has been, on occasion, demonstrably ‘funny’. Although I have seen him live and it was mediocre at best. But plenty of people have made that their career.
As an actor he’s very middle-of-the-road but, again, that’s never been a barrier to success. Look at Jared Leto or Tom Huddleston. JT is demonstrably awful but thinks he’s Mark Rylance and TH does TH in every film & just hopes the audience is mesmerised by how smooth he is.
As someone else pointed out, the big problem with film in the UK is that it’s very much ruled by the class system. We like to think it’s not… but it is. And JW is everything, I mean EVERYTHING that the issue entails.
Little Miss Sunshine
Great concept, questionable casting. Can’t decide if I’m interested or not.
Anyone remember the moment that Jack Whitehall asked garbage human Steven Seagal a question and Seagal threw him into a pond and walked off?
Read it as Jake Gyllenhaal lol.
