Anyway I believe fried Pepsi is basically either Pepsi or Pepsi fountain syrup mixed into funnel cake batter and shaped into a ball and deep fried. Maybe with a little extra Pepsi syrup drizzled on top afterwards.
I would say this was in Georgia but they wouldn’t touch Pepsi if they were dying and it was the only thing that could save them. Now deep fried Coke? They’d do that all day long.
State Fair of Texas booth had fried beer. It was a ravioli with a teaspoon of Shiner Bock in the middle and fried. Basically, hot beer. It was pretty gross. It was at this point that I realized that not everything is better deep fried, contrary to what I’d been told for decades.
