People are saying water lotus, but just a quick little note is that it should be water lotus root, water lotus usually refers to the flower, not the root which we asians and some other countries eat
I hope for them this is a locally grown fruit they can have lot of, because I can’t imagine this restaurant being in a US city where they need to restock the expensive fruit when it expires and wonder why they aren’t selling any.
Now, I am curious as to what this delicious meal is.
Just asked my taiwanese bf for a translation, he said “some sort of sauted water lotus”

This tracks with how I used to order usually. Assume it’s good and just pick randomly according to your budget.

I see people are posting pictures of 蓮藕 (lotus root) instead of 水蓮 (white water snowflake).
