Everybody deserves a nice spot to call home. Keep at it champion!
So happy for you. You’ve got this.
Lived out of my car for 3 months in the 70’s. Now happily retired with wife, kids, and grandkids. It will all work out – stay focused on your goals and sacrifice today to build a better tomorrow. Best wishes – live long and prosper!
While I hope you have more to fill it up. Even if all you have is this for now, remember that you are a winner. You will go far.
Congratulations!
Cool beans. Wish you the best of luck while you are making it homey. ❤️
Thats awesome! I love the flooring.
I’m sure you must be both relieved and incredibly proud of yourself, as you should be 🙂
Congratulations. Hard times make us appreciate the basics. Hats off!!! I wish you well.
I know the feeling, and I’m fucking Happy for you stranger! Lots of love to ya!
This image reminds me of when finally got a place 22 years ago. Everything I owned was in a backpack and even though the apartment was a small studio, putting all of my possessions down in there felt like this picture. I had no furniture for a few weeks and finally started collecting things from goodwill. Place came with a Murphy bed and I slept right on the mattress with my sweater as a pillow and a towel as a blanket. Nothing more humbling than buying a lamp and a chair at goodwill and then taking it home on the bus.
I now own a 4 bedroom home with a pool, 3 cars, and have a wife and 5 kids and we never, ever go without food or anything we need.
Well done! You are doing great
So happy for you. Keep fighting.

Place looks really nice and clean! Just remember to take pictures on your first day of the corners of the room, under the sink, behind the toilet, radiator, plugs, etc. Just to protect your security deposit later down the road. Day you move out, retake those same pictures in case of a dispute. Ask me how I know…
But congrats, it’s hard to claw out and sooooo nice to have your own corner to do with what you will.
Congrats! I am very happy for you!

Congrats friend! Yeah I willingly chose to live in my car a couple of years ago to save money, and I realized pretty quickly that it was a terrible decisions for many reasons
That must’ve been rough. Hope it only goes up for you from this point on, OP.
