Wish I could erase my memory of playing it and have the joy of experiencing it for the first time. Atmosphere / story is, to me, still one of the best.
My advice, own your choices, if you pick a decision that doesn’t go the way you want. Live with the consequences. Gives the game so much more emotional weight.
You can always do a perfect run on your 2nd campaign!
I’m 3 hours into ME1. Quite enjoying it despite it being pretty clunky. Sorta rushing it as apparently ME2 is much better. Story enjoyable although can’t see (yet?) why it’s so rated.
Never played Mass effect before then get the legendary edition last year as a gift. Needed a bit to grow on me because the first game has dated gameplay elements. But after that….oh Boy. It gets in my personal Top 10 list pretty easy. Never felt so connected to characters in a game.
Oh man enjoy. Best singleplayer game I’ve ever played.
Do yourself a favour and play followong 2 games afterwards. The fact your story and choices is saved across all 3 games is so damn good and i think it’s the only series that’s ever done that
Don’t kill me, but I found the game as a whole to be… *ok*.
I loved the story and worldbuilding, that part was great, and it’s what got me through it, but the gameplay itself and the onslaught of formulaic conversations and encyclopedia entries just broke me. Apart from a select few moments, *every* conversation with an NPC is “tell me more” and “what do you know about” over and over again. And then there’s 15 minutes of reading in the Codex because you went to a new planet.
There’s a lot of gold nuggets, but they’re so deep in the masses of mud that it can be tiresome trying to find them. The second game was a lot better mechanically, but honestly, I felt it had the same problems with dialogue, eventually leading me to just be tired of it. Maybe I’ll pick it up in the future, but honestly, probably not…
You are going to have the best 100+ hours of your life with this game, I played it in 2010 for my first time during my first recovery and it was a really big help to keep my mind focused on things other than drugs.
Idk what’s wrong with me but I just started and don’t like the feel of the controls when aiming/shooting so I stopped playing.
Spoiler alert, decide which one of your crew you think is the hottest early.
☺️
Amazing series but mass effect 3 ending ruins the whole story imo

Big tip. Play the first time without looking up anything online and talking to as many people as possible. You won’t regret it
One of the best series ever made
My favorite series to this day. I play it through almost every year.
We’ll bang, okay?
Have fun.
Jealous. An absolutely incredible series.
I was thinking about starting this on my PS3. Thoughts?
My favorite series of all time! Andromeda wasn’t great, but the first three are incredible!
What’s the point of living knowing I’ll never get to experience this trilogy for the first time again 😩
My name is Commander Daroph, and this is my favorite game on The Citadel!
Enjoy! I’d love to experience ME for the first time again. Take your time and immerse yourself in the lore
take your time and soak in all the lore with this magnificent series
Hell yeah, enjoy it you lucky dog
Ah man, am jealous!

never played it
Awesome series, first game is easily the weakest, but I don’t think it’s as bad as people act like it is.
The 2nd one is sooooo good honestly one of the best sequels in any fucking series!! Plus all about jack babieeeeee😄😁👌
Have fun !
Enjoy the ride! In regards to ME2, there are only 2 things to keep in mind: Delay the IFF mission, and don’t romance Jacob.
I’ve got a soft spot for ME1, it hits me in a way that 2 and 3 doesn’t
A great game and story. Hope you enjoy it.
It’s nice to know they used that game as a foundation and made a fantastic trilogy.
I started replaying again this morning :’). Already beat the game like 10 times before.
***The first time***?!??
Lucky bastard

Enjoy the space opera!
Just remember, there’s only two Mass Effect games.
You’ll thank me later
K.
Best space RPG ever ever! Enjoy the trilogy!

Started it twice and never got into it enough to continue
Just remember, your playthrough in the first game if you carry it over will impact ME2 and ME3.
ALL decisions matter in one way or another.
Does it hold? Never played either…
