Get a sharp knife and cut halfway around, then the rest peels off clean
You’re doing it wrong.
same thing happens at aldi. just resorted to using a knife.
Put your finger in the hole and pull up? After the first one ripped, that’s the play.
that’s nuts
this drives me nuts with peanut butter jars. I thought I had the answer recently. Before you start peeling, squeeze the plastic jar about 50 times so that it starts to lift the paper cover from the rim. When air finally starts seeping out as you squeeze, see if you can get a clean separation around the whole rim. This worked once for me and the whole top came off in one piece. But it is not a perfect solution. There are usually still bits of paper stuck to the rim.
I give those Costco containers a nice knuckle punch in the center of the paper to make a hole, then just peel it all off in a circular motion.
It makes a very satisfying, and loud, noise when you punch it.
i noticed this with the cup of noodles, sometimes when i open a bag of cereal it doesnt open the way i want it to open, or the bag of saltines, and not sure what other kinds of containers that do this with food
Slip a knife under the lid and then run it around the inner lip. Gets it off cleanly every time.
Why in the fucky fuck are people suggesting using a **KNIFE** to remove this in the comments?
There is already holes in the paper cover, just rip off the damn thing.
When it comes to bad product packaging Imodium has everyone beat, especially considering the reason most of us are taking it.
Bro messed it up 3 times lol
Every time I see something like this I wonder how some people get through life with such a lack of basic critical thinking skills.
That’s what your dick is for
I know the pain of this exact container
That’s a lot of nuts!
