Playing the switch in that mode will make sure it never heals right lol felt the carpeltunnel forming while I played in tablet mode.
On a more serious note I highly highly recommend just playing with the joy con’s free floating. Like no controller grip, put the tablet down, and play with each in one hand. Changed my switch gaming life, so many possibilities.
Hey internet friends! Just wanted to let you know that this is after a few weeks in. The soft tissue has healed and I am actually getting a checkup tomorrow to get to taken off. If you guys want I can show you the x ray!
This is an excellent way to get De Quervain’s tenosynovitis. Honestly if you are in a cast, stop. By the time you realize you are in pain you can cause extremely long lasting damage. Just heal and watch some Netflix.
This reminds me of when I was like 6 I think? And I broke my collar bone. I was really into gaming as my dad was and I was sad that I could play anymore as I couldnāt get access to a sling because I live on an island that is jokingly said to be 10 years behind on technology. But my father decided to go all the way to his work where he would sew and fix broken parachutes and made me a sling. It was really good sling and I was able to play, Iām very fond of this memory as he passed 4 years ago.
Amazing good for you
I dunno, it probably should…don’t want it to do any permanent damage.
Link approves of the grind
Hey, BotW is so magical, you must play!
Zelda ,wrist of the wild
How did you break it
What did you do?
Wishing you a speedy recovery!
I’ve been there.
I have gout that has reached my arms and hands and I get flare ups randomly.
No, you definitely need to stop! I did the same and I still regret it to this day because that never healed properly
Lucky you, my wrist break stopped my playing for close to three months (my break was nasty af though)
š breath of the wild is such an amazing game. Goat game
Well it should. Health before anything else
Broke my right thumb 2 days before mortal Kombat 11…beat it that week ! Now it clicks but I beat it !

Just let it heal for a couple weeks, you might do some permanent damage if you don’t let it heal.

Worst broke, but fingers aren’t lol.
With the (nonexistent) ergonomics of the joycons I get mad hand cramps from playing, I can’t imagine that’s good with a broken hand
