Found it fascinating that Steve Winwood re-recorded sampled vocals for this song because they couldn’t secure rights to the original recording from 1982.
I will never forget having this as my ringtone. We were eating in a restaurant. I loved the ringtone and my wife was telling me she didn’t really enjoy it. I asked the waitress what she thought of the song and she said it sounded gay. I just looked at her dumbfounded.

The story of how Eric Prydz convinced everyone this was his song and not Together’s is super bizarre.
Fuck. I had a roommate who had this song set as his alarm. Every fucking morning it’d play, and *every* *fucking* *morning* he’d miss the alarm 2-3 times in a row. Would drive me insane. Good song, but because of that I absolutely despise hearing it.
Was better than my other roommate’s alarm which was “Sweet potato pie and I shook my mouth”. Asked him to change it, he was nice enough to switch to “She thinks my tractor’s sexy” for the other six or so months.
This song does my head in. Overrated AF
I watched this music video a lot as a teenager. Not sure why.
Damn classic. Endless hours on the dance floor during my clubbing days.
This one came back to me during quarantine
Fun fact: the brunette dancer with the pink top and blue stripes is Matt Smith’s (Dr. Who) sister, Laura Jayne Smith.
casting call: must do porn
My goodness, this is 18 years old?
Go listen to Valerie by Steve Winwood for a mind fuck
I enjoy this music video.

This and Benny Benassi’s Satisfaction were the horniest music videos of the early 2000s.
Completely stolen. https://youtu.be/wyYAiU4DKUY
Eric prydz has some of the best visuals at his shows! The holograms he’s used are crazy good. I’ve heard he’s kind of a douche though.

This might as good time as any to learn two useful keyboard shortcuts on youtube. By either pressing , or . when paused.
