Great trailer, average film. Can tell immediately this is a Mark Woolen and Associates trailer

Ah wonderful, more tepid middlebrow slop from Sam Mendes
he hasnt made a good film since Road to Perdition
This movie got shredded by reviews, can’t muster much excitement for it now, especially after Sam Mendes’ recent efforts.

Sam Mendes is inconsistent but I will probably check this out.

It’s crazy how Roger Deakins can make normal things look incredibly beautiful. Truly the GOAT cinematographer.
Saw this at VIFF last month. Looks great but kinda boring, and thinks it’s way more deep than it really is. Also makes some comparisons between racial discrimination and mental illness stigma that I don’t entirely agree with.

I’m surprised Olivia Coleman has time to pee. She’s in EVERYTHING! But she’s brilliant.
After watching the trailer, i’m still pretty much in the dark about what the movie is about.
But it looks great, at least.
