    Don’t know why I have never heard of her before, so a good one. I took great pleasure in the book Jupiter’s Travels about the English man, Ted Simon who did this a decade before her.

    The luxury he would relish when found? An egg, fried in butter.

    I always wonder how land vehicles can ‘circumnavigate the globe’. – did she ride the bike around the deck of the ship between continents?
