I remember seeing him doing a live set promoting one of his early albums at the now long-gone NW music millennium. Christ I’m getting old…
Edit: I think it was the Either/Or album, so this would have been in early ’97…

I like Elliott Smith but can only listen to him infrequently as it’s just too depressing. Great lyricist though.
