I decided since Elijah and I are a day apart age wise it obviously meant we were meant to be. I was also a proud member of his fan club, signed up for via the back ads of Teen Beat.
Even my fan letter explaining how we are nearly bday twins didn’t do it. F you Elijah you could have moved to suburban Minnesota at age 11 and had a happy life with a girl one day your junior.
I saw this when I was a kid. I thought Culkin’s over the top evil was hilarious.
Killing his baby brother over a stupid rubber ducky, making Wood look like the bad one, and trying to convince his mother to save him, while showing no fear in his voice.
They filmed a lot of this movie in my hometown. I went sledding with MC one night after school. Some friends & I went to see the set & he was there sledding near the parking lot. It was cool & he was a fun n dude
Being a little shit is what got you dropped off the cliff, Macaulay
The Good Son. Pretty fucked up movie
That movie was crazy
It feels like an alternate universe

Omg Elijah Wood looks like they bought him at a toy store.
Legendary Film! Legendary actors.
My friend’s dad could never get his name right and always called him Milwaukee Waukee.
20 years later and it still makes me chuckle
The good son

Frodo and Kevin:)
you mean Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin
This movienwas one of the best in my childhood. I was so invested in their friendship when BAM slap to the face
Damn, that film was heavy; I thought homealone kid would have make a yet another funny movie… there goes my childhood trauma.
The LOTR trilogy would have been much different if Kevin McCallister was setting up some traps for anyone following them to Mordor…
I think about The Good Son every once and a while. I hated it when I was a kid. Love it as an adult lol
Poor Macaulay. Elijah Wood has said his mother protected him from predators in Hollywood, but that his peers were regularly made victims.
A group of twenty of us went and saw this in the theater, just to hear Culkin say “Don’t fuck with me”. We all cheered when he did.
It feels weird that they are in similar age but ofc it makes sense.
In The Good Son. SUCH A GOOD FILM.
I reference the end scene of this movie alot more than youd think one would.
30 years sure goes by fast.
My dad hated that “little red lipped bastard” after this movie, lol!
Hey Mark… don’t f with me.
Right before Culkin tried to throw Elijah of a cliff.
This movie. So dark.

So happy we still have both of these guys around!

“Hey Mark.”
“What?”
“Don’t fuck with me.”
If I let you go do you think you can fly?
The good son was a great movie. Creepy and suspenseful.
This made me realize that Elijah Wood is an adult version of his former child self
It’s weird that they’re the same age. Idk why but it is
Is it weird that Elijah Wood didn’t go through a period of fucking-up-his-life with drug use and cringe behavior like so many other child stars did?
