Ooh, I dig this. This looks like it’ll be what I thought May December was before the trailer dropped, a tense homoerotic drama between a younger woman & an older one. I’m also so here for Anne Hathaway’s turn towards more complicated, darker female characters than the roles she started in, so I’m very excited for this.
I am interested in this – I read the book years ago and found it kind of repulsive but compelling, certainly haven’t forgotten it. I pictured the title character a little homelier than Thomasin McKenzie but I’m sure she will do well. I do think the trailer does a good job of setting things up without revealing where the story is actually going…
I got to see this a few weeks back at Fantastic Fest. I loved it until basically the last 20 minutes. Great character building to a weird unnecessary turn instead of just sticking to the cool character story they created.
I know it’s based on a book but still felt so out of place.
This is a good trailer. It does a good job of capturing the vibe to the film without really hinting at what happens.
Come on …

I read this book a while ago and the movie looks good.
Thomasin McKenzie embodying her signature role of “scared bird”
The book is great, hoping this does it justice
Volume 2 in the “Thomasin McKenzie vs a classically beautiful blonde with overbearing confidence” following Last Night in Soho
Well this looks odd…
looks interesting, Anne is definitely getting better at acting with age!
Plot did sound somewhat interesting but i dislike Anne Hathaway so…
Read it as Ellen and thought we were getting a dramatic tale of the rise and fall of Ellen DeGenerous

The prequel to **Bound**.
