Maybe I’m not the target for these chairs or something, but I tried one out and it was the most uncomfortable chair ever. Nice office chairs suit me much better regardless of what I’m using my computer for.

I just know that chair can make a whole room smell horrid.
How did the piston or seat cushion last 10 years?
I’m not over weight, but i find that I need to replace my chair every 4ish years because either the piston starts letting me down or the seat cushion becomes uncomfortable.
10 years and it looks like that? So many people spend 300-500 on these chairs when they could buy a high-end office chair for 700-100 and keep it for much longer and have replacement part readily available. I’ve had my Herman Miller Aeron for over 10 and it looks unused besides dust and some fine scratches.
Why people pay a premium for these dumb fucking “gamer” chairs is beyond me.

Jesus, my chair fell apart in less than 2 years. Looked at the welds and it looked like it was done by a 2 year old with broken hands.

The only real damage is the leather lumbar pad. Then the seat has a few hanging threads that I have to take a knife to. But beyond that it’s pretty pristine. I have absolutely babied the thing.
My 10 year old aeron is holding up 100x better than this.
