Lemon juice is the stuff we sprayed on our dogs kennel/bench (not sure if it’s the correct terminology im English) so he would stop chewing on it.
It worked immediately, well.. after he chewed once and then started licking his paws, hoping it would come off his tongue.
We gave him some water, and after that he never chewed on it again.
One time when my dog was begging for food as i was cutting a lemon I gave him a slice to show him that he didn’t want it… he ate it, and stood there asking for more. He also once cleaned out all the jalapeños in our garden.
All I can think about is how frustrating it would be to have to pick up and throw away something that tasted like shit if your hands were covered in taste buds.
Dogs are goofy idiots and I love them.
