Remember when Marvel was just a scientist getting infected with gamma rays, or some human kid getting bit by a radioactive spider, or some rich dude building a flying space suit?
When you keep pushing the boundaries, all you end up with is this reality-strained, Inception-type multiverse shit.
It’s just fantastical special effects with very little story or investment in characters. I’m ready for this entire genre to go away.
