My irl party is all mid-30s and it’s truly astounding that we’ve only canceled like 10 weekly sessions in the last year. I feel lucky and grateful for a committed group (turning down gigs and workdays for DND day) and a dynamite DM.
Our group has the opposite problem, my group keeps adding more people. Last session we had 6 people over I had to move porch furniture into the house to seat everyone lol. It’s lots of fun though.
I don’t understand. By your mid 30s you should be able to schedule your time. You want a regular DnD game? You schedule one. You have a partner? They should understand and encourage you to have fun with your friends once a week. You have kids? Your partner should help you get your game night like you should help them get their night off. You have neither? Then it’s stupidly easy.
