Daughter lost her lost tooth. Guess the tooth fairy does things differently these days.

This is hilarious! I love it.
We need a pic of form 1083t as well.
Fairy 15846 has always been a stickler for policies and procedures. We submitted a TF form 943 and got an new fairy assigned to us, much smoother to work with. He just pulls from petty cash in those sort of situations.
Good lord, wait until she gets her 1065t tooth tax form. Adulting sucks.
Better than finding out your tooth proceeds were stolen by Russian hackers!
My new goals in parenthood
That is amazing lmao
This set the tone for my day- thanks folks!
Great job, pops!
Dang I didn’t know Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was such a bureaucrat…
So smart to do it on the computer. One year at my house the tooth fairy forgot to pick up the tooth, so I wrote a cutesy apology letter with sparkly gel pens and flowery handwriting.
My daughter looked at it, and said, “Mom, this is your stationery.”
The moral of this story, of course, is that no good deed goes unpunished.
so, uhh… how old is this kid supposed to be?
I don’t see many 5 years olds understanding this at all.
You have to save this for her. My mom presented 35yo me with all these things like this she had collected.
It was fun going through it all.
The real gift is bureaucracy.
I love this
Seems like someone has had a bit of practice with this kind of writing.
This sounds like something from Hogsfather.
In other words, we sifted through your poo and recovered the tooth
This Tooth Fairy used to be assigned to young Amy Santiago
What a legend
Reminds me of the cartoon Fairly Oddparents. In that show fairies had tons of rules and bureaucracy.
It is important to cut your teeth early on bureaucracy.
Now does Fairy #15846 mean it’s the 15846th successor in the family line of Tooth Fairies (with only one “working” at a time), or does it mean there’s at least 15845 other Tooth Fairies also working?
I think my mum is the tooth fairy.
I lost a tooth as a child and the IOU looked suspiciously like her handwriting.
“Submittal” your daughter isn’t gonna learn to read that way
Dang it! I swiped right to see the form. I’m writing my congressman!
People are going really far to lie to their kids anymore.
There’s more then one tooth fairy!!??
So much bureaucracy these days
I really wanna see the 1083t form that’s apparently attached 😅
How to teach your 5 year old about bureaucracy
This is wonderful!
Bureaucracy is definitely what this child needed to be exposed too
This reminds me of the time I had a baby tooth come out when visiting my grandparents. I was in the bathroom washing the tooth off right before bedtime and “bloop!” there it went down the sink. I was DEVASTATED, because, you know, I was a kid.
I ran into the living room where my parents and grandparents were sitting and just bawled my eyes out. I can’t remember what was said but I do remember going into my bedroom afterwards and just crying and crying and eventually falling asleep. Clearly I thought my world would never be quite right again.
I woke up the next morning and found an envelope under my pillow with a dollar and a little note that said:
“I found it!
—The Tooth Fairy “
I literally thought a magical, incorporeal entity had somehow gone into that drain and found THAT tooth. And it made my life absolutely right again. So right that I still clearly remember most of that one experience some 40+ years later.
Good on you parents who do little things like this.
