That toilet has over 30 flaps to lift. Quite complicated for children.
Elmo is an agent of chaos
This is one of the weirdest fixations people on reddit have. And imagine having the luxury of even being able to hang your toilet roll, along with sitting/standing to wipe. I have my wife and two daughters living in my house and we have a giant wire basket filled with toilet paper and one or two on the vanity at all times. We’d be changing the thing at least once a day. There’s been an empty tube on the holder for so long it’s got dust on it.
As for “standing” to wipe, it’s not like you’re standing straight up at attention at a military parade with your ass cheeks clenched, you just lift your ass off the seat enough that you’re in an ideal doggy style position, opening things up nice and wide for a thorough, more effective wipe.
This is actually the correct way to hang a roll if you have cats.
If you have kids (or certain cats), then hanging it this way makes it harder for them to spin the roll to unroll all of it. Elmo isn’t teaching kids how to hang the toilet roll, the book is just showing the roll how the parents probably already have it.
A is for anarchy
That’s the first roll. After that all other rolls go on the back of the toilet.
That is the proper way for kids and cats. When they spin the roll its it doesn’t unwind
Please tell me there are follow-up books that address the other incredibly idiotic internet arguments like deep-dish pizza, well-done steak and pineapple on pizza.

Ive been thinking about the toilet paper debate and ive come to this conclusion – if you have pets, especially a cat, this configuration is acceptable.
