Their recorded material is fun but holy crap, if you ever get the chance go see them live.
Saw them years ago and it easily stands out as one of the most memorable shows I’ve been to- at one point they had the audience get on stage and they played in our spot the floor.
I’ve seen Daikaiju live 4 times, and they never fail to put on a spectacular show.
Hands down one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. Guitar players crowd surfing while playing and the drummer had the audience holding his drums while he stood on a table and played.
I love this band.
Seen them light drums on fire in someone’s living room.
They’re from my town. Yes, please go see them. Incredible experience.

Saw them live seven years ago in a small venue in France, the frontman made me carry him as his feet were against the wall of the bar, best musical discovery that year!
Awesome style its like surf rock with a touch of metal.
I got to see these guys at The Quarry in Bisbee, AZ a few years ago, I took my 6 year old daughter with after calling the venue and confirm that all ages meant *all* ages.
First off, the band is absolutely **amazing** live and everyone should go see them if given the opportunity.
Second, these dudes brought my daughter up a table with them while they were playing and let her dance around, then after the show a couple members came and met her, and gave her a guitar pick that she still cherishes today. I got her a shirt from their merch store too, they’ve got a couple life long fans in us for sure!
They are touring now. Go to a live show if you can.

Played a show with them at a tiny bar in Florida in 2012. They went from the stage to standing on the bar. Bananas live band.
saw them in an upstairs bar once and between the floor bouncing and the band trying to light the ceiling on fire I was afraid for my life, but boy I was having a rocking good time.
When I saw them live, I took off my bra and threw it at them. It landed right on the drummer’s face (whoops), and he quickly picked it up and put it on and kept drumming. That was the least crazy thing that happened.

Saw them 20 years ago in a small venue in The Netherlands, and they returned 3 years ago and it was legendary. Had the guitar played sign my copy of their demo from 20 yrs ago. INCREDIBLE LIVE ACT!

I’ve seen them 4 times, last time being last night in NOLA, gonna see em there again tonight and in Mobile, AL Tuesday.
Look, the albums are great, this song is one of my favorites, but god the live experience is something else.
Not only that, they’re also genuinely great people, I always make sure to stick around and help clean, do whatever I can, and just hang out with them. Love all 4 of them, amazing people.
I will move heaven and earth rather than miss one of their shows near me.
