I will say Soccer’s not really my thing…but every once in a while you see some of these plays and they are just crazy impressive

Wow, I didn’t realize until I watched it a couple of times…but it looked like he was setting up the kick with his right foot, faked it and kicked with the outside of his left foot. Amazing.

The heartbreaking thing (as a supporter of the yellow team) was that it was a crazy game that we’d just gotten into a position to win.
* Mariners (yellow) dominated the first half but were 2-1 down at the half. The first goal was also an amazing volley.
* Two penalties in the second half (on the same guy!) got us 3-2 up with two minutes and time on to go.
* And then this.
As someone who doesn’t follow soccer/football even a little, can someone explain what’s unusual about this that’s so impressive?
