“Find the Halo, Win the war”
Cool lol
Did you get to ride that freaky elevator?
BTW
Cool pic? I’ll be the judge of that.
It’s cool.
One of my earliest memories is waiting in line for this stupid fucking thing. I was only three and to me it seems like we waited in line for half the day. My parents nowadays agree it was a long line but it was more like 30 minutes and it only seemed like half a day because I was three. Still, I have nightmares about it and will never go back.
It’s a sweet pic, for sure, but like what the hell is the point of this thing? Why did we make this?
There’s the Arch!
Did you go to the Royal Rumble?
It can sway up to 18 inches at the top, but takes a 50mph to move it an inch and a half.
I wanna slide down it
Wonderful wonderful wonderful composition and great exposure. Frame this one. It’s solid as it gets.
Agreed , its cool! 👍
In the 90s, some crazy dude climbed up the side with suction cups and BASE jumped off the top. Wild. That thing is 630 feet tall. https://www.ksdk.com/article/news/arch-daredevils-and-tragedies-over-the-years/63-205918123
Don’t let the covenant get there hands on that halo ring
Designed in 1947 and built from 1963 to 1965. Amazing for the time and technology. They predicted 13 people would die during construction but no one did. The distance across from the bottom of one leg to the other is the same as it’s height. They had to use water to cool it down and prevent expansion when the last section was put in place at the very top.
which country is this ? looks cool
